t. Luke's Campus is ecumenical in serving residents' needs. The weekly worship schedule is as follows:
Each Sunday
10-10:40 a.m. Chapel Service at St. Luke Lutheran Nursing Home Nursing Home Chapel
11-11:40 a.m. Chapel Service at Riverview Terrace Chapel of the View
Open Holy Communion
Third Sunday of the month at both chapel
services.
Worship Volunteers
Much credit is given to local groups, churches, organizations and individuals who assist in our weekly services and programs.
Round-up Volunteers:
Serve on round-up teams to transport residents to and from worship services. The
residents enjoy having the volunteers join them for worship, as well.
Accompanists / Organists:
All are uplifted singing "new songs before the Lord!" Residents are no
different. Accompanists and organists are always needed to assist in the weekly
chapel services..
*A sixth-month schedule is created for round-up teams, accompanists, service and hymn guides.
Bible Study
Our residents enjoy opportunities for Bible study. Current issues are often discussed with a Christ-centered focus, using relevant scriptures. Hymn singing is enjoyed in all group gatherings. Bible study schedules are as follows:
Monday
10:30 a.m. Bible Study at St. Luke Lutheran Nursing Home Nursing Home Activity Room
2:30 p.m. Bible Study at Riverview Terrace Chapel of the View
First and Third Tuesday
3 p.m. Bible Study at The Highlands The Great Room
Monday,
Wednesday and Friday
11:30 a.m. Bible Study at St. Luke Special Care Unit
Thursday
2:30 p.m. Bible Study and snack fellowship St. Luke Main Dining Room
*Bible studies last about one-half hour to 45 minutes.
