Terry Dandy

Terry Dandy
CEO/Administrator

Terry has served as Administrator/CEO since 1990. He has been involved in the senior healthcare field since 1978. He has more than 28 years experience within the senior healthcare industry.

Terry earned a degree in healthcare administration from Des Moines Area Community College located in Des Moines, IA He also earned a liberal arts degree from Iowa Lakes Community College located in Spencer, Iowa.

Terry has served as an administrator at Hillside Manor in Glenwood; Salem Lutheran Home in Elkhorn; and Bartels Lutheran Home in Waverly.

Greg Meeter

Greg Meeter, C.P.A.
Chief Financial Officer/Controller

Greg has served as the St. Luke Campus Chief Financial Officer/Controller since 1989.

He earned a Bachelor's of Arts degree in Accounting from Dordt College located in Sioux Center, Iowa.

Prior to joining the St. Luke family, Greg served as a Certified Public Accountant for Winther, Stave & Co. LLP, in Spencer, Iowa.

Nancy Mills

Nancy Mills
Director of Health Services

Nancy has served as the Director of Health Services for St. Luke Homes & Services, Inc. since the summer of 2003.

Nancy is a Spencer native graduating from Spencer High Scool. She earned her Associate Degree in Nursing from Iowa Lakes Community College (ILCC) located in Emmetsburg, Iowa in 1986. Nancy continued her education and training from Rochester University located in Rochester, Minnesota where she was exposed to clinical experiences at St. Mary's and Methodist Hospitals.

Kim Krause

Kim Krause
Office Manager/Human Resources

Kim joined the dedicated staff at St. Luke Homes & Services, Inc. in 1995, serving as the office manager and coordinator of human resources.

Her responsibilities include payroll and responding to inquiries directed towards the human resources department for the St. Luke campus.

Jill Sears

Jill Sears
Receptionist

Jill joined the dedicated staff at St. Luke Homes & Services, Inc. in 2006, serving as the receptionist for St. Luke Lutheran Nursing Home.

She is responsible for directing visitors, families, and residents to either staff members or residents in the building. Jill's duties include: receiving all incoming phone calls, entering data information on new residents and changing data that may arise, and performing any clerical tasks assigned.

Jill finds her job at St. Luke Lutheran Nursing Home very rewarding. She greatly enjoys the staff and visiting with residents. "St. Luke Lutheran Home is a wonderful placed to be employed," Jill states.

Georgia Wrightsman

Georgia Wrightsman
Social Worker

Georgia has been serving as the campus Social Worker for St. Luke Homes & Services, Inc. since 1979.

She earned a Bachelor's of Science degree in Social Work from Buena Vista University located in Storm Lake, Iowa. Georgia is a licensed social worker in the state of Iowa.

Dale Meyer

Dale Meyer
Maintenance Director

Dale has been serving as the Maintenance Director of St. Luke Homes & Services, Inc. since July of 1992.

In 1993, he became a Certified Boiler Operator Grade I. In 2004, Dale received his Class I Plumbing Contractor License.

Dale served as the Building Project Manager for all three phases of Riverview Terrace, for Hillside Terrace and for the Aquatic Center addition on the St. Luke campus. Dale's duties include overseeing all plant operations at St. Luke, Highlands, Riverview and Hillside, as well as the two rental properties St. Luke owns.

Currently, Dale is involved with Chapter #42 Iowa Association of Building Engineers and has been active with the group since 1993. He also is a board member for the Shayla Bee Fund, an organization helping working families with a child in medical crisis.

Becky Thong

Becky Thong
Housekeeping Director

Becky joined the dedicated staff at St. Luke in December 1985, starting in the House-keeping department. She became the department supervisor in July of 2007 and manages a dedicated staff that provides services to both the Nursing Home and the Highlands facility.

Becky finds her job at St. Luke Homes & Services very rewarding and enjoys both the award winning team environment while providing outstanding services to all residents.

Kay Meyer

Kay Meyer
Dietary Director

Kay has worked in health care in dietary since 1982 and has worked at St. Luke Homes & Services since September of 1990.  She took the food service 90-hour course in 1991 and was named Dietary Director in December of 1991. In 1994, Kay furthered her education in dietary services in taking a dietary manager course to better serve our residents.

Her duties include supplying meals to the nursing home, both Assisted Living facilities and the Highlands.  She plans the special and holiday meals, as well as the ordering for all of the buildings and supplying the pop and candy vending machines.  There are two sets of menus that are written each year. Kay also does the scheduling and supervising of 25-30 staff.

Kay acts as an active participant in the Shayla Bee Fund. The Shayla Bee Fund is an organization dedicated to helping working families with a child in medical crisis. Kay organizes and participates in various fundraising initiatives.

Linda Manwarren

Linda Manwarren
Laundry Supervisor

Linda has been with St Luke’s since October of 2007.

She grew up in Spencer. After graduating from Spencer High School, Linda attended Iowa Lakes Community College (ILCC) for a year. She and her husband have raised their family in Spencer, as well.

The laundry department at St. Luke’s consists of four employees. They launder the Nursing Home resident’s personal laundry and all of the linens used by the St. Luke Lutheran Nursing Home facility. They deliver clean clothes to the resident’s rooms daily, Monday through Saturday. They also launder and restock seven linen closets daily.

Linda is responsible for maintaining a clean and efficient laundry department. She oversees and schedules the laundry staff, orderes linens, keeps circulated linens in good order, and carefully monitors the distribution of personal laundry to residents. The residents do appreciate the service, as one resident commented, "Thank you for doing what I can no longer do myself."

Pastor Michael Sharp

Pastor Michael Sharp
Chaplain

Pastor Michael Sharp attended Concordia Theological Seminary and earned a Master of Divinity degree in 1982. He has served congregations in Logan, Iowa, Wathena, Kansas, Canton, Kansas and Spencer, Iowa.  In Canton, he served not only a parish but also a nursing home facility that the congregation owned. He earned 400 plus hours in Clinical Pastoral Education from Heartland Hospitals in St. Joseph, Missouri in 1989-1990. His passion is working with the elderly. Pastor Sharp's duties as a full time chaplain for St. Luke Homes and Services started on July 1, 2007.

His duties include conducting all worship services for the nursing home and two assisted living complexes, as well as conducting all Bible Classes. He conducts memorial services and does a great deal of bereavement counseling with the families of our residents. Pastor Sharp keeps busy with attending all of the department head meetings at St. Luke and working with the residents and staff on all of the campuses of St. Luke's in Spencer.

Pastor Sharp finds the work quite intense, but very satisfying.
