Alan Campbell
CEO/Administrator
Al took the helm as St. Luke Homes & Services’ CEO in April 2013.
He has been involved in the senior healthcare field since 1978.
Al received his undergraduate degree in Psychology and Sociology from Iowa Wesleyan College in Mount Pleasant before earning his Master of Science in Health Care Administration from Trinity University in San Antonio.
He is an Iowa- and Colorado-licensed nursing home administrator and has served facilities in Iowa, Colorado and Illinois. He has also served as executive director of skilled-care facilities in the Denver region, Colorado Springs and Fort Morgan, Colo., as well as in Sumner and Elk Horn, Iowa.

Greg Meeter
Accounting Controller
Greg has served as the St. Luke Campus Chief Financial Officer/Controller since 1989.
He earned a Bachelor's of Arts degree in Accounting from Dordt College located in Sioux Center, Iowa.
Prior to joining the St. Luke family, Greg served as a Certified Public Accountant for Winther, Stave & Co. LLP, in Spencer, Iowa.

Nancy Mills
Director of Health Services
Nancy has served as the Director of Health Services for St. Luke Homes & Services, Inc. since the summer of 2003.
Nancy is a Spencer native graduating from Spencer High Scool. She earned her Associate Degree in Nursing from Iowa Lakes Community College (ILCC) located in Emmetsburg, Iowa in 1986. Nancy continued her education and training from Rochester University located in Rochester, Minnesota where she was exposed to clinical experiences at St. Mary's and Methodist Hospitals.

Joni Stein
Assistant Director of Nursing & Medicare Coordinator
Prior to being named the Assistant Director of Nursing for the St. Luke Homes & Services, Inc. campus, Joni served as the MDS and Medicare Coordinator.
She earned her Associate Degree in Nursing from Iowa Lakes Community College.
Joni has 22 years of experience in Long Term Care including the following positions: CNA, LPN, staff nurse, RN and MDS/Medicare Coordinator.

Jean Faust Nelson, RN
MDS Coordinator
Jean has served as a RN and MDS Coordinator for St. Luke Lutheran Nursing Home since 2000.
Jean grew up in Hubbard, Iowa. After high school graduation, she went onto college at Rochester University located in Rochester, Minnesota becoming a Registered Nurse (RN). Jean then continued her education in receiving a certification in Gerontology.

Emily Thompson
MDS & RN Coordinator
Emily joined the staff at St. Luke Homes & Services, Inc. as an MDS and RN Coordinator in September 2012.
She earned her nursing degree at Augustana College in Sioux Falls. Prior to joining the St. Luke Lutheran Home team, Emily worked for 10 years as a Home Care Nurse and in the Obstetrics department at Avera Regional Medical Center in Marshall, Minn., as well as a Nurse and an MDS Coordinator at a nursing home in Fulda, Minn.
Emily enjoys living in northwest Iowa. She has three children: Ellie, Gracelyn and Nathan.

Amanda Klein
Activity Director
Amanda has been working in the Activities Department with St. Luke Lutheran Nursing Home since the fall of 2010.
She grew up in Spencer, Iowa. After graduating from Spencer High School in 2005, Amanda went onto Iowa Lakes Community College receiving her Associate of Arts degree. Amanda then transferred to Buena Vista University located in Storm Lake, Iowa, where she received a Business Management degree in 2009. In May 2010, Amanda took the Activities Coordinator course through Iowa Lakes Community College.
Amanda enjoys planning activities for the residents of St. Luke Lutheran Nursing Home. Seeing the residents involved and having fun brings joy to Amanda's life.
In her spare time, Amanda likes scrapbooking, traveling, bike riding, exercising, and spending time with her husband.

Elizabeth Essick
Receptionist
Liz joined the dedicated staff at St. Luke Homes & Services, Inc. as a laundry aide in January 2008, and transitioned to serving as the receptionist for St. Luke Lutheran Home in July 2012.
She is responsible for directing visitors, families and residents to either staff members or residents in the building. Liz’s duties include receiving all incoming telephone calls, entering data information on new residents and changing data that may arise, and performing any clerical tasks assigned.
Liz enjoys working in the healthcare setting and finds her job at St. Luke Lutheran Home rewarding. She greatly enjoys the staff and visiting with residents and their families.

Georgia Wrightsman
Social Worker
Georgia has been serving as the campus Social Worker for St. Luke Homes & Services, Inc. since 1979.
She earned a Bachelor's of Science degree in Social Work from Buena Vista University located in Storm Lake, Iowa. Georgia is a licensed social worker in the state of Iowa.

Kay Meyer
Dietary Director
Kay has worked in health care in dietary since 1982 and has worked at St. Luke Homes & Services since September of 1990. She took the food service 90-hour course in 1991 and was named Dietary Director in December of 1991. In 1994, Kay furthered her education in dietary services in taking a dietary manager course to better serve our residents.
Her duties include supplying meals to the nursing home, both Assisted Living facilities and the Highlands. She plans the special and holiday meals, as well as the ordering for all of the buildings and supplying the pop and candy vending machines. There are two sets of menus that are written each year. Kay also does the scheduling and supervising of 25-30 staff.
Kay acts as an active participant in the Shayla Bee Fund. The Shayla Bee Fund is an organization dedicated to helping working families with a child in medical crisis. Kay organizes and participates in various fundraising initiatives.

Kris Todd
Marketing/PR Director
Kris has served as the Marketing & Public Relations Director for St. Luke Homes & Services, Inc. since January 2012. In this role, her responsibilities include providing public relations and marketing initiatives for St. Luke Lutheran Home, Riverview Terrace Assisted Living, Hillside Terrace Assisted Living and The Highlands.
Prior to joining the St. Luke Homes & Services staff, Kris served as a newspaper reporter and photographer, an administrative assistant, a director of marketing and public relations, and as a radio news anchor and assistant farm director.
Kris is a Spencer Rotary Club member and serves on the board of directors for the Spencer Area Activity Center and the Clay County Community Foundation.
